Warrior Head
Bronze · 2 of 6
A row of raised points runs back over the crown and breaks the silhouette into a crest. The maker modelled them in wax across three sittings and let the tips stay ragged where the wax tore.
The maker built the green patina over months of controlled exposure. Copper reads through it at the cheekbone and along the bridge of the nose, which is where a face catches light first.
The eyes stay open and the mouth stays shut. The shoulders stop where the maker stopped working them, and that torn edge stands as the finished edge.
